Job Description
A - PURPOSE & SCOPE
Responsible for promoting and selling Audio, Web and Video conferencing services and solutions through professional sales techniques and long term customer relationship.
B - MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identifying, developing and maintaining new accounts through cold calling, referrals, and securing appointments with potential clients.
- Setting and organising new business appointments.
- Proactively manage a small base of accounts and generate additional revenue through unified communication.
- To achieve sales to a required competency level.
- To achieve a pre-determined number of telephone calls and appointments per week.
- To maintain regular contact with companies.
- Organise and carry out visit to clients when required.
C - KEY OBJECTIVES
- To achieve specific sales target of £2,200 incremental business
- 4 new billing accounts per month minimum
- Constantly striving to exceed client's expectations.
- Identifying lead though sources.
- Book own appointments
- Manage own diary
- Maximise own activity
- To support managers to meet company objectives.
- To highlight potential problems and contribute to their resolution.
Person Specification
1 - EDUCATION AND TRAINING
- GCSE in Maths and English
2 - SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
- A working knowledge of Business to Business Service sales.
- Excellent negotiations skills.
- Proven, demonstrable track record in field sales.
- Good working knowledge of Windows.
- Excellent telephone manner and marketing skills.
- Track record of generating sales from a zero start.
3 - PERSONAL PROFILE
- Ability to work as a team player or to use one's own initiative in a busy environment is essential.
